These murals were painted directly on the walls in water based, acrylics using a transparent, glaze medium to enhance the illusion of depth. This unique combination simulates the sophistication of oils, while maintaining the lightness of fresco.  All four walls of the space were painted, transforming the entire room into a majestic illusion. 

The client had prepped the walls beforehand with a textured coat of stucco, which lent a unique character to the murals.  (This however is not recommended due to the extra cost and difficultly it creates in the working surface - conveyed here in the slight fracturing of the images).
